The Prado Museum is one of the leading cultural referents both in the world, as well as in Spain. Its rooms house a magnificent artwork collection, with more than 900 works by the most important artist of all times: Velázquez, El Greco, Goya, Rembrandt , Tiziano, Van Dyck, Tiépolo, etc.

The Expiatory church of La Sagrada Familia, masterwork of architect Antoni Gaudí , is Barcleona’s most iconic monumental building, and the foremost exponent of the work of the catalonian architect. The temple shows a  personal and unique architecture, where coexist the traditional structure, decoration, symbolism and nature, which creates a complex structure of exuberant ornamentation and a clear religious commitment.

The Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela is Spain’s finest Romanesque work of art. After numerous expansions, the church has seen increase and enrich their walls with Gothic, Baroque,  Plateresque, and Neoclassical elements, which make this temple an unique architectural sample. It is the final destination of pilgrims come from all around the world, and origin of the city that gives its name, Compostela. The Arte Reina Sofia Museum shows an important collection of XX century art. It is world famous for his masterpiece "Guernica" by Picassom and other very importans Works by Salvador Dalí and Joan Miró. His cubist art collection with pieces by Juan Gris, Georges Braque, Robert and Sonia Delaunay make it an international benchmark. Its backdrops also has relevant examples of surrealist painting, works of Francis Picabia, René Magritte, Yves Tanguy and Jean Arp, in addition to those already mentioned by Miro and Dali.

It is possible also to enjoy works by masters of the second half of the twentieth century, as Jorge Oteiza, Antoni Tapies, Eduardo Chillida and Francis Bacon, among others.
